2023 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

We set the bar incredibly high for our first release. Four barrels plucked from a legendary Howell Mountain producer, where the wines regularly score 95-98 points and fetch upwards of $200.

While designated as Napa Valley, fruit is sourced entirely from one of the oldest pre-prohibition vineyards in Napa.

2023 Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon “Odyssey”

Just wow!!! Fruit forward, but not a fruit bomb. So smooth and elegant for such a young wine, I can’t wait to see what a few years will add to it and I’m certain it could easily cellar for at least 10 more. This beauty drinks like a $200 bottle, but comes in at a quarter of the price.

Opened Liftoff to get a baseline before cellaring my other bottles. Great acidity, balanced structure, juicy. Black cherry/dark fruit are already coming in strong. Crazy quality at that price. With some time in the bottle, this is going to be phenomenal. Seriously, more like Blastoff in a few years.
